i still have diabetes type 2 but the good news is my blood sugar went down from 7,2 to 6,8. dr. westerman (my ever cute doctor) said that it improved so he instructed me to increase my metformin by 1 tab more. he also mentioned i should try to lose weight ( then and again, of course i know it but it’s the holidays!)..
anyway, he also said i lack a lot of sunshine and i am now vitamin D deficient. it’s not related to my diabetes but he said that it’s better i should take it every week. so i had another prescription.
to sum it all up … good new but i still need to lose weight which according to my doctor is really easy to say but hard to do!
GOOD LUCK to me :)

December is always a busy month the first few weeks and then relatively relaxed after Christmas!
This year it’s one fun-ride at the start of the month! Our head office in NY invited all employees to attend the Annnual meeting and Christmas dinner/party to be held at Le Parker Meridien and St. Regis Hotel respectively. The exciting part was that spouses were also invited!!! A friend of mine says, “what???? with all the crisis here and there, here you are going to New York for a Christmas party?” so yessssss …. i am one lucky lady!
Anyway, the trip in itself was already a very nice experience because it was my first time to go to America. For most of my childhood and adolescent years, I was dreaming of going to the US. It was long time ago that I already gave up on it because fate took me to Europe instead. As I was saying, it’s a great experience but the added bonus was to go to Los Angeles and Las Vegas to meet some family and friends. It was one of the happiest fun-filled moments this year! Neverthought, that God will give me such opportunity and blessing.
The trip in summary was a success! I tremendously enjoyed my time in America. Some photos will be available in the next blogs to come.
Steve Jobs passed away, 5th October, 2011 at the age of 56. He’s one of the world’s greatest people who made a huge contribution to the tech world… A Titan!
He will surely be missed!!!
Never miss an opportunity to make others happy, even if you have to leave them alone in order to do it.
